Measuring for Pendant Lighting

When installing pendant lighting, it's essential to consider both height and proportion to ensure the perfect balance and functionality in your space.

Kitchen

For kitchen island pendants, hang 76-91cm above the countertop. Space multiple pendants 66-76cm apart, leaving at least 30cm from the edge of the island.

Dining Room

Hang dining room pendants 76cm above the table surface. To determine the ideal fixture width, add the room's length and width in meters, then multiply the sum by 10 and express it in centimeters for proper proportion.

Bedroom

Position bedside pendants at least 76cm above the nightstand surface. Center the fixture over the nightstand to maintain visual balance and ensure adequate task lighting.

Perfect for creating a calming atmosphere in our nursery room. No harsh direct bulbs visible, just a lovely glowing donut ring.

Cozy atmospheric lighting

We fitted two of these over our long dining corridor. They emit a gentle, glare-free light that makes late evening conversations feel extra cozy.

Stunning illumination, a bit heavy during setup

Looks breathtaking in our hallway. Gave 4 stars purely because holding the heavy alabaster ring while securing screws needed patience, but worth every effort!

Perfect flush mount solution

Most ceiling flush lights look institutional, but this one adds massive architectural warmth. The glass/stone texture is beautifully smooth to the touch.

Top-tier craftsmanship

The brass collar has a subtle brushed texture that doesn't show fingerprints easily. A truly refined flush mount light fitting.

Minimalist luxury for lower ceilings

We wanted a statement flush fitting for our Victorian conversion with low head clearance. The brushed brass rim sits totally flush and looks ultra-sleek.

Transforms the room instantly

The light filter through the translucent stone creates a serene halo effect on the ceiling around it. Absolutely smitten with this purchase.

Elegant sculptural piece

Looks like an expensive art gallery installation even when turned off. The combination of satin brass and raw translucent stone is spot-on.

High-end feel, careful handling required

Delivered in extremely secure custom foam. The stone detail is genuine with subtle vein variations. Take your time installing as stone needs a delicate grip!

Outstanding value for real alabaster

Looked at similar designer stone fixtures in London showrooms for quadruple the price. This looks identical in quality and craftsmanship.

Exquisite natural stone finish

Absolute showstopper in our cloakroom! The organic marbling in the alabaster doughnut shade diffuses light into a magnificent buttery warmth.

Gorgeous warm glow for our landing

Replaced a boring spotlights bar with this donut fixture. The soft diffused beam makes our top floor landing feel like a boutique hotel corridor.

Delightfully unique design

I search high and low for a curved donut-style stone fitting. This met every expectation—warm, tactile, and completely elevates our modern lounge.

Pure tactile quality

The weight of this light tells you immediately it’s real carved stone, not cheap resin plaster. Gives off such an inviting twilight atmosphere.
