Measuring for Pendant Lighting

When installing pendant lighting, it's essential to consider both height and proportion to ensure the perfect balance and functionality in your space.

Kitchen

For kitchen island pendants, hang 76-91cm above the countertop. Space multiple pendants 66-76cm apart, leaving at least 30cm from the edge of the island.

Dining Room

Hang dining room pendants 76cm above the table surface. To determine the ideal fixture width, add the room's length and width in meters, then multiply the sum by 10 and express it in centimeters for proper proportion.

Bedroom

Position bedside pendants at least 76cm above the nightstand surface. Center the fixture over the nightstand to maintain visual balance and ensure adequate task lighting.

Straightforward assembly for our tradesman

Our local electrician had it suspended and wired in twenty minutes flat. The ceiling canopy is solid and supports the chandelier effortlessly.

Atmospheric warm glow for autumn gatherings

Creates such an inviting twilight ambiance above our oak dining table. The contrast between warm timber and dark metalwork is exquisite.

Impressive quality, chain shortening took patience

Looks superb suspended from our high ceiling! Rated 4 stars only because removing a few links from the heavy metal chain took some effort, but hangs perfectly level now.

High-end boutique look for a bargain price

Looks like an artisan light fitting from a Cotswolds interiors showroom for three times the price. Truly delighted with this purchase.

Perfect scale for high-ceilinged spaces

Fills large vertical void space gracefully without blocking sightlines through the room thanks to its open cage silhouette. Highly recommended.

Superb craftsmanship with authentic wood texture

You can feel the quality in the weight of the timber. The distressed grey-wash finish looks genuinely vintage, not like cheap painted MDF.

Unique carved trefoil geometric design

The interlocking wooden arches around the drum frame are beautifully carved and add so much structural interest to our hallway landing.

Quintessential rustic charm for our farmhouse

The weathered whitewashed timber ring and rusted iron hanging arms give our dining room an amazing barn-conversion character. Absolute stunning centerpiece.

The bronze hardware pairs wonderfully with our antique iron door handles. It transformed a plain room into our favorite cozy sanctuary.

Lovely antique aesthetic, box was slightly bulky

Gives our cottage lounge a proper period feel. 4 stars just because the outer box was quite large to get upstairs, but the light itself was easy to assemble!
