Measuring for Pendant Lighting

When installing pendant lighting, it's essential to consider both height and proportion to ensure the perfect balance and functionality in your space.

Kitchen

For kitchen island pendants, hang 76-91cm above the countertop. Space multiple pendants 66-76cm apart, leaving at least 30cm from the edge of the island.

Dining Room

Hang dining room pendants 76cm above the table surface. To determine the ideal fixture width, add the room's length and width in meters, then multiply the sum by 10 and express it in centimeters for proper proportion.

Bedroom

Position bedside pendants at least 76cm above the nightstand surface. Center the fixture over the nightstand to maintain visual balance and ensure adequate task lighting.

Gorgeous aesthetic, wall bracket alignment takes care

A remarkably refined wall fixture. Rated 4 stars only because aligning the decorative wall base perfectly square required a bit of patience, but looks divine now!

Superb value for a traditional gallery light

Looked at similar antique brass picture lights in high-end Cotswolds showrooms for three times the cost. This looks every bit as luxurious.

Lovely warmth, swivel joint was slightly stiff at first

Adds instant traditional character above our mantlepiece mirror. Giving 4 stars just because adjusting the tilt joint felt a bit tight out of the box, but holds position firmly now.
