Measuring for Pendant Lighting

When installing pendant lighting, it's essential to consider both height and proportion to ensure the perfect balance and functionality in your space.

Kitchen

For kitchen island pendants, hang 76-91cm above the countertop. Space multiple pendants 66-76cm apart, leaving at least 30cm from the edge of the island.

Dining Room

Hang dining room pendants 76cm above the table surface. To determine the ideal fixture width, add the room's length and width in meters, then multiply the sum by 10 and express it in centimeters for proper proportion.

Bedroom

Position bedside pendants at least 76cm above the nightstand surface. Center the fixture over the nightstand to maintain visual balance and ensure adequate task lighting.

Superb build quality, fitting the base cup took care

Absolutely love the raw industrial vibe! Rated 4 stars only because mounting the heavy shade onto the ceiling plate required a steady hand, but sits rock solid now.

High-end boutique look for a fair price

Saw similar concrete and timber downlights in a Soho interior showroom for three times the cost. Quality of materials here is genuinely exceptional.

Arrived safely wrapped in Yorkshire

Was slightly worried the porous concrete material might get damaged during delivery, but it came encased in custom protective foam slots. Pristine condition.

Perfect modern flush downlight for low ceilings

Needed something compact and stylish for our cottage hallway landing where hanging pendants would be too low. This sits flush and looks like a bespoke piece.

Lovely aesthetic, shade was slightly heavier than expected

Adds brilliant texture to our downstairs cloakroom ceiling. 4 stars just because the stone shade has some proper weight to it, so make sure your fixings are sturdy!
