Fluted Bloom Vase is a pair of hand-thrown stoneware vessels carved with deep vertical ridges that gather into a soft. ruffled opening — like a fabric sack cinched at the neck. Sandstone-textured matte off-white finish across both forms.

Tall is the upright vessel with a rounded body and pleated rim. Wide is the lower-profile version with a broader hip and a more torn. organic rim. Both accept dried stems through the ~50 mm opening — pampas grass. bunny tails. eucalyptus. dried magnolia branches. or wheat. Anchor a console table on its own. or pair the two forms for a sculptural arrangement.

For dried stems only — not waterproof. The interior is unsealed stoneware. Water will seep through the body and damage the finish. Use with dried botanicals. faux florals. or as a standalone sculpture.

Hand-Thrown Stoneware

Each vessel is shaped on the wheel and finished by hand. Ridge depth. rim ruffle. and surface texture vary slightly between pieces.

Sandstone Matte Finish

Raw. unglazed stoneware texture in a clean off-white — reads as quiet. earthy luxury without aged or distressed effects.

~50 mm Bloom Opening

Ruffled rim opens to a 2-inch interior — sized for medium-stem dried botanicals and small bouquets of faux florals.

What dried stems fit the opening?

The 50 mm (~2″) ruffled opening is sized for medium-stem botanicals — pampas grass. bunny tails. dried eucalyptus. wheat stalks. dried magnolia branches. lavender bunches. or single-stem statements like a dried lotus pod. For tight bouquets. choose stems no thicker than a pencil. Faux florals work beautifully too.

Can I really not put water in it?

Correct — the stoneware is unglazed and unsealed. so water will seep through the body within hours and damage the matte finish. If you want to use fresh florals. place a slim glass cylinder or test tube inside as a hidden water reservoir. then arrange your stems in that. The opening is large enough to accommodate this.

Which form should I choose?

Tall (S or L) is the more refined. vertical silhouette — best for eye-level surfaces like mantels. entry consoles. and shelves. Wide is rougher and sculptural — best for low surfaces seen from above. like coffee tables and dining table centers. The two forms pair beautifully together for a layered tablescape.

Each vessel is hand-thrown and individually finished. Fluting depth. rim ruffle. and surface texture vary between pieces — that's the nature of handmade stoneware. The photos show a representative example. not the exact piece you'll receive.

How do I clean it?

Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth or a soft-bristle brush for dust trapped in the fluting. Avoid water. alcohol. and chemical cleaners — they can stain or alter the matte stoneware finish. Don't put it in a dishwasher.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting

When installing pendant lighting, it's essential to consider both height and proportion to ensure the perfect balance and functionality in your space.

Kitchen

For kitchen island pendants, hang 76-91cm above the countertop. Space multiple pendants 66-76cm apart, leaving at least 30cm from the edge of the island.

Dining Room

Hang dining room pendants 76cm above the table surface. To determine the ideal fixture width, add the room's length and width in meters, then multiply the sum by 10 and express it in centimeters for proper proportion.

Bedroom

Position bedside pendants at least 76cm above the nightstand surface. Center the fixture over the nightstand to maintain visual balance and ensure adequate task lighting.
